Richard I. Newman is an accomplished litigator and former federal investigator with over 20 years of experience in high-stakes litigation, compliance, and government enforcement matters. His career bridges private practice, federal prosecution, and senior investigative roles within the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Army.

Richard’s government service included assignments as a Special Agent with DHS Office of Inspector General and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), where he investigated public corruption, fraud, and organized crime. He later served as Assistant Chief Counsel for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Officer-in-Charge of the U.S. Army Trial Defense Service in Europe, where he defended service members in some of the most high-profile courts-martial of the decade.
